Gaiaの息吹
地球の成長に伴い誕生した永くも尊いガイアの魂。
自然の美を驚かせるほどに魅せ付ける伊予の石。
地下深く育まれたその石を地上に取出し再組成する。
石という素材だけにとどまらず、
その置かれた空間にも命を吹き込みたい。
その作品は２対の３本の柱がお互いに呼応しながら
競りあがるという動的な動きに対し、
その中心に静かに水の湧き出る円い蹲を配置。
また環境に溶け込むべく草花を内包。
動かない彫刻にはーもにーという躍動感を託したい。
作家略歴 － 原田 砂織 － １９６３ 広島に生まれる。 １９８６ 金沢市立金沢美術工芸大学 彫刻科 卒業。 １９８８ 同上 大学院 修了。 １９９１～９７ 彫刻家杭谷一東氏に師事。 １９９２ イタリア(CARRARA)に渡る。
